We all go through a kind of suffering that will bend our knees. And if you haven’t gone through it yet, I want to assure you that it will unquestionably come. No one is exempted. Everyone can be a victim.
Some pains are so deep that the one reeling it will just choose to sleep to paralyze his senses at the thought of it.
But you don’t need to be a victim of your circumstances. I don’t care who hurt you; what misfortune has befallen you; how heartbroken you are. You have the power to break free from the shackles that have limited you.
You can never fly unless you open your wings and spread it wide. And the only way to do it is to release the excess baggage that you painstakingly carry on your back.
How do you think your life will become if you let go of your egoistic need to corroborate your victim mentality? You keep on telling others your story of defeat, selling them like hotcakes when nobody really cares.
How do you think your joy will have grown if you release your need to validate your adversarial condition? You try to beat others down so you can see them share your suffering. That is downright lame.
Your complaints, your drama, your victim mentality, your whining, your blaming, and all of your excuses have NEVER gotten you even a single step closer to your goals or dreams. Let go of your nonsense. Let go of the delusion that you DESERVE better and go EARN it! Today is a new day!
If you are not the hero of your own story then you are declaring a self-defeating prophecy.
I am not saying you should lift yourself at the cost of your pride and ego. But I ask you to tell a story about how you plan to win over every challenge that life throws at you. If you cannot entrust that story to anyone, at least begin telling it to yourself. For the power and the courage to do that is all within you – lying dormant unless you summon it into being.
You are not the sole person to have walked the destructive path of the valley of defeat. Many have gone there as well. And the choice to leave there or stay there will be your most important decision. Quit romanticizing with your problems, poverty, shame and loss. Move on to the yellow-brick road of self-actualization and personal empowerment. Learn from those very pain and mistakes. Keep walking. Keep walking. Keep walking. Please keep walking.
Realize the truth that you are not a victim of your own story. You are the author and creator of the best story that which yourself. A story where others can draw inspiration from. A beautiful story of your finest transformation to the best version of you.
